while this skimmer works when it actually runs, it will not run 24/7. first time you charge it , it will run all day, and into the next day about 9 am, I live in SOCAL full sun all day , my pool has full sun all day too. next day at 9 am it is about 20% and it will only charge to 50% by the end of the day. By midnight it is fully stopped. While it as a concept it is great, on the ground it is not. I had the AIPER S2 and I sold it after I received this Dreame skimmer as a gift, I wish I didn't, the AIPER is more efficient and it ran 24/7 winter and Summer. I have all Dreame vacuums and they work great inside the house but I can't say the same for this one. I was really disappointed and now I'm stuck with a skimmer that works only at day time. I sold my Aiper and lost money on it to my neighbor because she needed a skimmer too, now she got the skimmer that works and I got the skimmer that works 12 hours not 24 hours. while it the skimmer does look good, but that is all it is, looks good. I was going to make a youtube video about it showing everything but I thought maybe Dreame will remedy the problem, but after removing my review, I might just make one after all.
